I got a 2009 Mazda 6 last Tuesday.  It is different having a 4-door, but I am getting used to it.  Here are some pictures.

This week I will be searching for a new car. Mine is 11 years old and I've spent $3,000 on it this year and there is another problem. So, I am getting a new car.

Here are my top three choices....in either white or silver. I'll keep you posted on who gives me the best deal :)

Toys for Tots

In conjunction with the NC State Football team and Tom O'Brien, Club Sports is collecting toys to support the Toys for Tots program. If you are interested in helping us collect toys I will have a box outside of my office by this Friday at the latest.

Similar to coach O'Brien we expect our club leaders to be champions in the community, in the classroom, and with their respective sport. In 2007 the NC State Toys for Tots donation contributed to the 75,000 toys given away by the nine-county Triangle region. We are excited to help make this donation total even higher for 2008.

If you are interested in donating a toy but will not have time to go to the store I am willing to purchase a toy for you if you chose to donate.

Ghost Story Kit Creations

Here are four more pages from the Ghost Story Kit.  I had fun with this kit, but who doesn't enjoy Halloween.  I didn't have time to get to the Blue Skies kit today, but hopefully I will get one page done tomorrow.  I did finally take pictures of the wedding album that I did and will post those later in the week.

We took Nala to Lake Raleigh and of course she had to roll in something nasty and smell....toxic.  We had to give her a bath when we got home.

We took Nala to a pumpkin patch at a church in Holly Springs to take some Halloween pictures.  This is my favorite because she is smiling.  Plus one of Nala's many nicknames is Pumpkin Pumpkin Pie.

Nala was grumpy that we made her wear that pumpkin costume, but not grumpy enough to not give kisses.

My mom and I bought Nala a pumpkin Halloween costume at target.  It was a size large, but still too small.  I think Nala is just too big for Halloween!  We also got her a bucket for treats, but all she did with that was get it stuck on her head, as you see in the pics.
