Spring Break in Florida

The Wednesday afternoon of spring break I flew to Orlando to meet my mom, aunt sis, and aunt gail. Gail had a business meeting/conference so my mom and I flew to meet her and sis. We spent a few days in Sebastian and then in Disney for the rest. We went to Epcot, Magic Kingdom, and Animal Kingdom. Here are some pics from the trip.

Returning Goldie Box

Last weekend we brought Goldie Box back to my parents in Wilmington. My dad is working nights so on Saturday morning we left the house when he got home so he could get some sleep in a quiet house. We decided since we had Nala's new boots we would go to Carolina Beach State Park.

Every time we go to the park Nala cuts her paws on oyster shells and they bleed and are sore for the next week. So we bought her $50 boots for hunting dogs.

We start walking on the beach and we throw a stick in the water. Her first jump one boot comes off, second jump another comes off, and by the time she is back all 4 boots are floating the water. $50 shoes...I had to go get them. So I went in the water up to my knees to get her boots. Here are some pics from the beach.

New Toys

Most of you know that Kyle's car was totaled after the NC State vs Duke football game at the end of the season last year. Luckily my parents still had my sisters car, a gold Mazda Protege. Kyle has been driving my sisters car, which he named "Goldie Box" for a few months. We finally had some time to look at cars last weekend. On Sunday he purchased a Jeep Grand Cherokee. The Jeep is really nice and with a new big car comes new toys. Kyle has a bike and I didn't so we couldn't ever ride together, so yesterday he bought me a bike! Today we went to Umstead Park with a friend and rode on the horse trails or an hour or so. It was a lot of up and down hill, so it was exhausting. I am so glad that spring weather is finally here.....please stay. I have pics of last weeks March snow that I'll post later.

Finally we see the 50's

It has been an extremely cold winter and we've had highs in the 30's for over a month. Today we finally are going to see the 50's...I can't wait for spring!

Here are a few scrapbook pages that I did a few weeks ago. The first picture is of me, mom and dad, kyle, and his parents at The Oxford a restaurant downtown Raleigh.
The second picture is of Nala over Christmas in Wilmington. We took her to an elementary school to play and of course she found the mud and rolled. My dad titled the pic "pig or dog" and I stuck with that for the title of the page.

Happy Birthday Goose

On February 5 Nala turned 3 years old. She is now officially legal in dog years :)
It has been very cold and rainy here for the past few weeks so it was difficult to go outside to take pics. Here is Nala with her birthday hat and her birthday dessert.
