Snow and Ice Go Away

Kyle left this morning at 10am for the airport. It took a little over an hour for him to get there. He said the highway was plowed, but nothing else. I am in the house again and don't want to drive in the snow/ice mess. Not as many people are outside playing today, so I am in the house too. Here is what I've been doing....

Snowfall

The weather prediction was right! It started snowing on Friday night around 7:30pm and that turned in to snow/sleet on Saturday. On Saturday we woke up to 4-5 inches of snow. Kyle's flight was canceled on Saturday and is supposed to leave at noon today. We played outside for most of the day with the neighbors and all the dogs.

My dad came up/over yesterday for the NC State vs UNC basketball game. He's been to games at the RBC Center before, but never a big rivalry game. I was excited for him to hear how load the arena gets and how the crowd really gets in to the game. Of course with the NC State choke factor we did not win.....I don't think my dad has ever seen us play well at the RBC Center.

It was fun game. The students were really into the rivalry and made signs/posters to show off and talk bad about CAROWINA :) Here is a pic that my dad took of us at the game last night.

A Quiet Day

Kyle left for Ohio this morning for the week. So it was a quiet day of cleaning and hanging out. I did manage to get one page done before going over to my neighbors house to watch the Jets/Colts football game. I guess now that the Jets are out I'll cheer for the Saints. Kyle is out of town next weekend too, so I should have some more time to finish my new house mini album.

First Mini Album

I was so happy to have today off from work. This is going to be a very busy semester and our next day off is not until Memorial Day.....
I got some valentine's day supplies and decided to try a mini album. I chose my loves, Kyle and Nala. Enjoy the pictures.
