Camp Yemma

Last weekend at my parents house we watched a friends dog. Well, Nellie is not a normal dog. Nellie the bulldog is a big dog in a small dog body with bulldog problems. She had eye surgery so everyday for the rest of her life she has to have antibiotic drops put in her eyes because she can't produce tears. You also have to clean her wrinkles and under her tail with antibiotic wipes. My mom took care of that for us while we were dog sitting, thanks mom.
Nellie likes water and likes to play but she sinks, doesn't swim well, and gets tired after only a few minutes of exercising. We bring her outside for the first time and the first thing she does is fall over the side of the pool and into the water head first. Luckily I was right there and saved her. So for the rest of the weekend Nellie got to wear a doggy life vest. We got the vest for Nala so she can wear it on the boat, she has a tendency to jump out even if the boat is moving. She has a slight obsession with water. I think Nellie enjoyed the weekend and was exhausted when we took her home. I'll post a video later. Any other campers interested in Camp Yemma, we are not charging.

That's it... I am bringing Dezi to Camp Yemma next visit!
Dezi has the same life vest.

You might have something here... when your parents retire, they could make the back yard into a doggie day camp! hahaha!
